54,000+ plants, 5 months, one thriving waterway.
In November 2021, Timberwolf redefined urban restoration at Hanlon Park’s waterway, transforming a tired concrete drain into a thriving natural creek in Stones Corner, Brisbane.
Partnering with an existing client working with the Brisbane City Council, Timberwolf participated in delivering a bold vision - creating a visually striking and functional park that also stands as Australia’s largest creek naturalisation project.
Over five months, Timberwolf's crew planted 54,000 wetland and advanced plants across five hectares, reinvigorating the area and establishing a resilient waterway built to last. The project showcased Timberwolf's expertise in landscape restoration, seamlessly integrating careful planning, logistics and the agility required to meet tight project deadlines.
No challenge is too big for Timberwolf. When flooding hit mid-project - right in the middle of the planting phase - the team’s precision and high-quality planting methods were put to the test.
The result? The plants held strong, showcasing the experience and quality of Timberwolf’s work. Since completion, the site has withstood a major flood and multiple rain events, proving that expertly executed planting and adaptability to shifting timeframes create landscapes that endure.
The client partnered with Timberwolf for a reason: a track record of delivering high-quality results on complex large-scale projects.
Timberwolf’s approach is simple - clever, adaptable, tough and results-driven. With precision and grit, the wolfpack takes on any challenge headfirst, leaving behind an impact that speaks for itself.
And we’re not the only ones who think so. ABC captured this transformation in action, showcasing the scale and the ultimate success of the project.
